Rai Bareli, Dec 11 (UNI) Ahead of Prime Minister Modi’s visit to this Congress stronghold on December 16, heavy security arrangements are being put in place.
Official sources on Tuesday said the PM will inspect the Modern Rail Coach Factory Lalganj and address a ‘Jansabha’ later in his short, one-day visit.
Special arrangements are being done to keep the security intact during this period. Security forces are also being requested from outside.
Additional Police Superintendent of Dalmau, Sadar, Salon and Mahrajganj have been given the charge of keeping the security arrangements in place.
Sources said that security officials including 16 commandents, 25 Additional Superintendent of Police, 50 police DSP(s) will be deployed in huge numbers as part of the elaborate security arrangements.
Apart from this, 12 company PAC and six fire tenders will also be put in place to deal with any untoward incident.
Snipers will also be present in high-rise buildings, whereas drones and CCTV cameras will be used for surveillance on miscreants and the control of crowds.
BJP state president Mahendra Nath Pandey claimed that a crowd of over three lakh people will be seen in the PM’s rally.
PM is expected to introduce certain schemes for Rai Bareli.
