Rahul says policies of govt rendered 14 cr people unemployed, asks youth to associate with campaign of youth Cong

New Delhi, Aug 9 (UNI) Attacking the NDA government at the Centre on the issue of unemployment, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Sunday said that the policies of the government like demonetization and faulty implementation of the GST have rendered 14 crore people unemployed.

Rahul called on the youth to get associated with the 'Rojgar do, Modi Sarkar' (Modi government, provide employment) campaign of the Indian youth Congress.

In a video posted on his Twitter account, the Congress leader said, 'When Narendra Modi became PM, he had promised to provide employment to two crore people every year. However, it later turned out that 14 crore people in the country were rendered unemployed by the policies of the Narendra Modi government.

Steps like Demonetization, faulty implementation of the GST and implementation of lockdown have led to a destroyed economic structure in India. The reality now is that the Indian government cannot give employment to its youth.

Sharing the video on his Twitter account, Rahul called on the youth to get associated with the 'Rojgar do, Modi Sarkar' (Modi government, provide employment) campaign of the Indian youth Congress.

Rahul said that the Youth Congress will take to the streets to raise this issue in every nook and corner of the country.

'Desh ke Yuvaon ki mann ki baat, Roger do Modi Sarkar' (The inner voice of the youth of the country, Modi government, give employment). All of you should join voice of the youth Congress and awake the government from its slumber),' he said.
