New Delhi, Mar 17 (UNI) Congress president Rahul Gandhi and AICC General secretary for Uttar Pradesh east Priyanka Gandhi Vadra on Sunday condoled the death of Goa Chief Minister and former Union Minister Manohar Parrikar
In a condolence message, the Congress President said, '
I am deeply saddened by the news of the passing of Goa CM, Manohar Parrikar Ji, who bravely battled a debilitating illness for over a year.
Respected and admired across party lines, he was one of Goa’s favourite sons.
My condolences to his family in this time of grief.'
Expressing her condolences on Mr Parrikar's death, AICC General secretary incharge for Uttar Pradesh east Priyanka Gandhi Vadra said, 'My condolences to the bereaved family of Manohar Parrikar. I met him only once, when he graciously visited my mother at the hospital two years ago. May his soul rest in peace.'
