Rahul meets Prime Minister of UAE

New Delhi, Jan 11 (UNI) Congress president Rahul Gandhi on Friday met the Vice-President and the Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Mohd.

In a post on social media, Mr Gandhi said, “this evening I had an excellent meeting with the Vice President & Prime Minister of UAE, the architect of modern Dubai. The bonds between India & the UAE have stood the test of time. I am committed to helping build an even stronger relationship between our countries.”

Earlier on Friday, Mr Gandhi, who is on a trip to UAE as part of the global outreach by the Congress towards NRIs, said that he had a meaningful interaction with members of the Indian Business and Professional Council in Dubai.

At his meeting with business leaders & professionals in Dubai, the Congress President interacted with prominent UAE businessman B R Shetty.

Mr Gandhi also interacted with the Punjabi community in Dubai.
