Benaluru, Nov 23 (UNI) Karnataka Cabinet expansion awaits green signal from All India Congress Committee (AICC) President Rahul Gandhi, Deputy Chief Minister Dr G Parameshwara said here on Thursday.
Talking to newsmen here, he said that discussion on Cabinet expansion has been completed and awaiting approval by Mr Gandhi who is currently busy with Assembly election campaign in five State Assembly.
After swearing on May 23, after Mr Yeddyurappa stepped down due to lack of required number to form the Cabinet, JD(S) and Congress formed the coalition government with Mr Kumaraswamy was sworn in as Chief Minister and Dr G Parameshwara, who was the then Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) President as Deputy Chief Minister.
