Raghubar attacks Nitish over 'Topper Scam', invites students from Bihar to study in Jharkhand

Ranchi, Jun 26 (UNI) Taking potshots at Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar after the topper scam came to light, Jharkhand CM Raghubar Das today said that there was a time when Bihar was the torch-bearer in the area of education but now due to the 'mafia' who have high political contacts, the education system has lost its relevance.
Talking to reporters at his residence here after flagging off a couple of Digital India IT Outreach vans, Mr Raghubar Das said everyone knows what is the standard of education in Bihar. Earlier also, the degrees from Bihar were viewed with suspicion and now when the topper scam has come in the open, questions would be raised on all the educational degrees of that state.
"I invite the students from Bihar to become a part of well maintained and transparent education hub of Jharkhand and they should not become a part of poor education system and spoil their future," Mr Das said adding that the education system in Bihar has completely collapsed and on many occasions, the pictures have been brought in the media where one could see a large number of people outside the examination halls, helping those inside cheat during the examination.
