R G Kar's fourth year student found dead in a Malda hotel

Kolkata, Sep 13 (UNI) In a shocking development, the death of a fourth year student of R.G. Kar Medical College and Hospital under mysterious circumstances has sparked concern and raised many questions.
The incident happened just a day after an undergraduate student in Kolkata was found dead in the pond of Jadavpur University. Though police said initial investigation suggests that Malda based tribal junior doctor Anindita Soren (24) might have consumed poison and taken her own life, her family alleged that she was murdered.
According to police sources, Anindita, a resident of Balurghat in South Dinajpur, died yesterday afternoon. Family members said she was in a relationship with a young man from Purulia, who was studying at Malda Medical College. The two had reportedly married at a temple in Puri. Anindita's mother, Alpana Tudu, claimed that her daughter had recently become pregnant. When she came to know of it, she advised the couple to get married formally.
