Quinquagenarian becomes first confirmed COVID-19 case in Beed

Beed, Apr 8 (UNI) A 58-year-old man became the first confirmed patient of Novel Coronavirus in this district of Marathwada on Wednesday, after his swab samples reports tested positive.
According to the Health officials here, the patient hailed from Aasti taluka of the district. He reportedly came in contact with a person in Ahmednagar district, who had attended the religious conference, organised by Tablighi Jamaat at Markaz Nizamuddin, last month.
