New Delhi, Nov 19 (UNI) A moderate intensity earthquake shook the Indo-Nepal border on Tuesday evening, giving slight tremors to the northern regions of the country, including the national capital, Uttarakhand and Uttar Pradesh.
According to the United States Geological Survey, the epicentre of the tremor, measured 5.3 on the Richter scale, was located in Dipayal Silgadhi locality of Nepal, situated on the banks of Seti River.
The tremor shook the region at around 1930 hrs. So far, there were no reports of any damages due to the quake.
