Pvt Varsity slapped with a fine of Rs 3 lakhs for suppression of facts

Shimla, Dec 6 (UNI) A private university of Himachal Pradesh was found guilty by the HP Pvt Education Regulatory Commission of indulging in unforgiving criminally activities and suppression of the facts, it was slapped with penalty Rs three lacs fine and the commission also seeked the UGC intervention.
This matter came to light through an order by Major General Atul Kaushik, Chairman HPPERC and Prof. Shashi Kant Sharma, member of the same.
In the matter the respondent private university namely Indus International has been found guilty of a major anomaly. Just for the sake of their short gains, “Indus International University, Una, HP has spoiled the sanctity, secrecy of the examination system and degraded the values and ethics in quality education,” spelled out the extracts of an inspection report about the institution.
