Puratchi Bharatham to support AIADMK in TN Assembly polls

Chennai, Apr 26 (UNI) The Purtachi Bharatham, a political party
founded by 'Poovai' M Jagan Moorthy, today announced that it
would support the ruling AIADMK in the May 16 Tamil Nadu
Assembly elections.
Talking to reporters here, Jagan Moorthy said his party would
campaign in all the 234 assembly constituencies and strive for
the victory of the AIADMK-led candidates in the polls.
He said, though the AIADMK was gracious enough in offering
his party the Madurantakam seat, his party workers decided
against contesting it.
''Instead, we decided to pledge our party's wholehearted
support to the AIADMK in the elections and work for the
victory of its candidates'', he added.
