Chandigarh, Oct 19 (UNI) National College of Physical Education (NCPE), Chupki has lifted both men as well as women team overall trophies in the Punjabi University’s 56th Annual Athletic Championship at the Punjabi University Athoetic Stadium in Patiala.
On Thursday, NCPE collected 95 points to win the men's overall trophy while Multani Mal Modi College, Patiala were runners-up with 60 points. S R S Chahal College of Physical Education, Kalyan finished third with 37 points.
In the women's category, NCPE piled up 132 points to claim the overall trophy. Baba Parmanand College, Jakhepal were second with 49 points and B.Z.S.F.S.Khalsa Girls College, Morinda finished third with 36 points.
