Punjabi diaspora condemns Sikh bodies indulged in fighting at Gurudwaras

Jalandhar, Jan 12 (UNI) Lashing out at the Sikh bodies managing affairs of Gurudwaras both at home and abroad for indulging in dirty power politics, US based North American Punjabi Association (NAPA) executive director Satnam Singh Chahal said that the fighting in or outside in any Guruduwara Sahib had been defaming the Sikh community around the globe which is a major concern for the Sikhs.
Mr Chahal’s reaction came soon after a video of dramatic fight at the Turlock Sikh temple in California went viral. In the video, the images of men and women shouting, punching and even attacking each other with weapons, present a scene of utter chaos.
Mr Chahal said that this was very unfortunate that such kind of incidents had become common at the gurudwaras across the world.
