Punjab to launch online directory of Zila Parishad, Block Samiti members, Sarpanches & Panches soon

Chandigarh, Sep 18 (UNI) Punjab Rural Development and Panchayat Minister Tript Rajinder Singh Bajwa on Wednesday announced that the rural development department would soon launch an online directory providing details of all the Zila Parishad, Block Samiti Members, Sarpanches and Panches of the state and directed the officials to launch this online directory as soon as possible.
This was stated by the Minister while releasing the ‘Malwa Sarpanch Directory’, prepared by prominent social worker Gora Sandhu Khurd here. The Directory provides the detail of seven districts of Malwa region which include information of Sarpanches with photographs, mobile number, police station and vidhan sabha constituency.
Lauding the efforts of Mr Gora Sandhu, Mr Bajwa said that he should try to compile details of all the sarpanches of the state in the next edition of this directory.
