Punjab to establish smart schools

Jalandhar, Feb 19 (UNI) Congress Parliamentarian Santokh Singh Chaudhary on Wednesday said that the Punjab Government is focused on establishing smart schools so as to ensure all round development of students.
The Jalandhar MP stated this while speaking as the chief guest at the annual function of Government Girls Senior Secondary Smart School on Ladowali Road here.
On this occasion, he announced a grant of Rs five lakhs for construction of classrooms. Earlier too he had given a Rs three lakh grant for the development of the school.
