Punjab: SAD appoints observers for Municipal Corporation elections

Chandigarh, Dec 9 (UNI) Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) Working President Balwinder S Bhundar has appointed party leaders as observers for the present Corporation Elections. This was disclosed by Senior leader Dr Daljit Singh Cheema.
In a statement released here on Monday, he disclosed that Harish Rai Dhanda has been appointed observer for for Jalandhar, Bikram Singh Majitha and Gulzar Singh Ranike have been appointed for Sri Amritsar, Baldev S Khaira for Phagwara, Mantar S Brar and Mr SR Kler for Ludhiana and NK Sharma and Gurpreet S Raju Khanna for Patiala Municipal Corporation elections.
Cheema further said that the SAD will contest these elections on party symbol ‘Scales’.
