Punjab polls: Youth seriously injured in firing incident at Akali Dal's rally

Nakodar, Jan 20 (UNI) A youth was seriously injured in a firing incident at the venue of an election rally organised by Akali Dal leader Gurpartap Wadala at Chuhar village under Nakodar Sadar police station on Thursday.
The injured youth was immediately admitted to the Civil Hospital, from where he was referred to Jalandhar due to his critical condition.
As per the information, police parties, including Nakodar SHO Lakhwinder Singh, City police station chief Kirpal Singh, Sadar police station chief Parminder Singh, reached the spot and started investigationS into the incident.
