Punjab police held foreigner with drugs

Fatehgarh Sahib, Aug 19 (UNI) The Fatehgarh Sahib police on Monday arrested a Nigerian national for drug peddling and they also recovered 200 gram heroin from his possession.
Stating this during a press conference here, SSP Amneet Kondal said that earlier a police team had recovered one kg heroin from one Jaswinder Singh alias Toni of Gobindgarh during a special checking. During his interrogation, Jaswinder disclosed that he had received the heroin from Nigerian national Splair Sunde alias Emeka Ekechi residing at Vipan Garden near Uttam Nagar in New Delhi, who also supplies heroin and cocaine to other states.
Based on this information, the process for nabbing the drug smuggler was initiated and he was nabbed from Delhi with 200 gram heroin. He is on police remand till August 21, the SSP added.
