Punjab launches Chief Minister Health Insurance Scheme offering ₹10 lakh cashless treatment

Chandigarh, Jan 22 (UNI) The Punjab government launched the Chief Minister Health Insurance Scheme, promising cashless medical treatment of up to ₹10 lakh per family annually.
Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convener Arvind Kejriwal attended the launch event, describing the initiative as a major step toward universal healthcare in the state.
Under the scheme, all residents of Punjab will be eligible for free treatment without any income or age restrictions.
