Chandigarh, Dec 10 (UNI) Kisan Mazdoor Morcha leader Sarvan Singh Pandher on Tuesday said that a Jattha (group) of 101 farmers will march towards New Delhi on Saturday and slammed the central and Haryana governments for their approach to the movement.
Speaking to reporters, Pandher said the Central government had not given any indication that they wanted to talk and alleged that Prime Minister Narendra Modi didn't want to discuss the issues raised by the farmers. On top of that, the Haryana government was using force to discourage the protesting farmers.
He announced Wednesday - December 11 - will be observed as a prayer day at the Shambhu border between Haryana and Punjab and requested people to visit a place of worship according to their belief and pray for the success of the farmers' agitation.
Pandher appealed to the people to reach the border in support of the movement on Friday, December 13, when their agitation would complete 10 months.
On Saturday, December 14, a group of 101 farmers will march towards New Delhi, he said. UNI GS MR SSP
