Punjab govt green signals' appointment letters to 61 college lecturers of Ravi Sidhu case : Tript Bajwa

Chandigarh, Jun 5 (UNI) Punjab Higher Education department has okayed giving appointment letters to the 61 college lecturers of the Ravi Sidhu case.
Stating this here on Friday, Higher Education Minister Tript Rajinder Singh Bajwa said that 16 appointment letters have already been given and those lecturers found eligible would also be given appointment letters provided they submit required documents to the department.
He said that the issue of recruitment of the lecturers was stalled for a long time due to the matter being sub judice. But now with the court giving it's judgement in the matter, the departmental committee has found 61 college lecturers eligibile in accordance with the directions of Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh.
