Punjab govt declares Janmashtmi holiday on Aug 23

Chandigarh, Aug 22 (UNI) Punjab government declared holiday for August 23 in its all government institutions, schools, offices, boards and corporations, in connection with the festive occasion of Janmashtmi.
Disclosing this here, an official Spokesperson for Punjab government on Thursday said that earlier, the holiday in connection with Janmashtmi was scheduled for August 24, but now, this holiday has been pre-poned to August 23.
