Punjab Govt committed to secure interests of migrants: MP Chaudhary Santokh Singh

Jalandhar, Apr 8 (UNI) Lok Sabha member from Jalandhar Chaudhary Santokh Singh on Wednesday assured the migrants that the Punjab government led by the Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh was fully committed to safeguard the interests of the migrants in the state during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Interacting with a delegation of the migrants who called on the Member of Parliament here at his residence, Mr Singh said that the migrants have played a key role in the socio-economic development of the state. He added that the Punjab government was fully at the disposal of the migrants in this hour of crisis. He said that the state government has taken a slew of measures for the well-being of the migrants during the curfew.
