Punjab farmer union leader receives a telephone call from Centre

New Delhi, Nov 30 (UNI) A Punjab farmers' leader received a telephone call from the Central government who wanted five names to be suggested from the Samyukt Kisan Morcha (SKM) side for a committee, confirmed SKM in a statement on Tuesday.
"SKM has yet not received written communication and no details are available so far about what the Committee is about, its mandate or terms of reference. In the absence of such details, it would be premature to comment on this issue,” said SKM.
The SKM clarified about the reports that a meeting between Haryana Chief Minister and Haryana farm union leaders will be held tomorrow. SKM said it has not received any formal or informal invitation from the Haryana government about the meeting and no meeting has been scheduled as yet, said SKM

Central drug authority recommends regular marketing approval of Covishield, Covaxin
