Punjab Education dept sets new standards in online education

Chandigarh, Aug 1 (UNI) The Punjab School Education Department has ensured that the education of students is not interrupted due to the COVID pandemic and has set new standards in providing online education to lakhs of students in the state, Education Minister Vijay Inder Singla said.

Officials said that the School Education Department started the process of online admissions and education during the ongoing pandemic keeping in mind the safety of the students and school staff. Due to the efforts of the governments students from more than 19,000 schools across Punjab are being imparted online education.
