Punjab crush MP to enter Vijay Hazare SFs

Bengaluru, Jan 13 (UNI) Punjab captain and wicketkeeper Prabhsimran Singh dominated the proceedings as his team crushed Madhya Pradesh by 183 runs in the 3rd Quarter-Final of the Vijay Hazare Trophy Elite 2025-26 at the BCCI Centre of Excellence Ground 1 here on Tuesday.
His commanding 88 off 86 balls, including 10 fours and 2 sixes, anchored Punjab’s massive total of 345 for 6, setting the stage for a comprehensive victory and booking a semifinal berth.
Prabhsimran’s innings was complemented by Anmolpreet Singh’s 70 and Nehal Wadhera’s explosive 56, while Harnoor Singh added 51 to ensure Punjab maintained a run rate of nearly 7 per over.
