Punjab cops nab five wanted criminals

Chandigarh, Aug 14 (UNI) Amidst the ongoing special drives to ensure peaceful celebrations of Independence Day, Punjab police’s Anti Gangster Task Force (AGTF) has arrested five persons wanted in several cases of heinous crimes including three recent killings in Ferozepur, DGP Gaurav Yadav said here on Wednesday.
The AGTF teams also recovered five pistols along with 40 cartridges, besides, impounding two vehicles.
DGP Yadav said three of the accused were allegedly involved in the sensational murder of Lovepreet Singh on July 31 at Ferozepur. Further investigations was on.
