Punjab constitutes committee of officers to discuss agrarian issues

Chandigarh, Jan 4 (UNI) Punjab government has constituted a committee of senior officers to discuss agrarian issues with various farmers groups.
The committee would submit their recommendations to the state government, a spokesman for Chief Secretary office said here on Friday.
Divulging the details, he said that Additional Chief Secretary, Development would be the Chairperson of this committee. He said that Additional Chief Secretary, Revenue or his representative, Principal Secretary, Finance (Director Institutional and Finance & Banking), Secretary Agriculture, Registrar, Cooperative Societies, Additional Chief Secretary, Home or his representative and Director General of Police or his representative would be the members of the committee.
