Punjab CM mourns death of Raj Khurana

Chandigarh, Dec 26(UNI) Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal today expressed profound grief and sorrow over the sad and untimely demise of former BJP MLA Raj Khurana, who passed away at a private hospital in Gurgaon, after a prolonged illness yesterday.

In a condolence message, the Chief Minister described Raj Khurana as a disciplined soldier of BJP, who worked relentlessly for the upliftment of disadvantaged sections of the society, besides ensuring overall development of the region. Mr Badal said that in the death of former MLA, a void has been created within the political arena, which was impossible to be filled in the near future.
