Pune, Feb 23 (UNI) Australia went into lunch with the scoreboard reading 84 for 1 as openers David Warner and Matt Renshaw stiched a 82-run stand for the first wicket in the ongoing first Test of the four-match series at the MCA stadium here this afternoon. The visitors started on a wonderful note after winning the toss and crossed the 50-run mark without losing any wicket. However, a change in the bowling attack by skipper Virat Kohli did the trick as Umesh Yadav dismissed a well-settled Warner (38) in the 27th over. Just after his dismissal, Renshaw (36 retired hurt), too, left the field. Skipper Steve Smith (1) and Shaun Marsh (1) were unbeaten at the crease at the time of lunch. Brief Score: Australia 1st innings: 84/1 (David Warner 38, Matt Renshaw 36 ret hurt, Steve Smith 1 not out, Shaun Marsh 1 not out, Umesh Yadav 1/1).
