Pune NCP agitates rly gate closure, warns of self-immolation

Pune, Jan 16 (UNI) The NCP on Sunday staged a demonstration to protest the decision of permanently closing Sayyed Nagar Railway Station Gate No 7 in Hadapsar town.
Led by former Mayor and city NCP chief Prashant Jagtap, scores of activists converged at the railway station with the intent of stopping train operations.
However, heavy security was already deployed around the premises. Hence, the protestors couldn’t enter the railway station.
