Pune is 2nd industrial hub in Mah, needs good infrastructure : Rajesh Agarwal

Pune, Mar 27 ( UNI) Pune is one of the fastest growing city after Mumbai, but needs good infrastructure like international airport and logistics facilities, said Rajesh Agarwal, national president of Agarwal Marwari Chamber of Commerce Industries and Education here on Monday.
Agarwal said the western parts of Maharashtra like Pimpri-Chinchwad, Bhosari, Talegaon, Ranjangaon, Hadapsar, shirwal, Sikrapur and Baramati have covered MIDC areas which helped to state to established many national and international industries here, said Agarwal.
Mr Agarwal said anywhere in the world, an international airport is considered to be the most vital infrastructure and backbone of development of the country, state- region city, but it is very unfortunate that this city has yet to see the international airport. He demanded from aviation ministry to looks on it into top priority basis since city like Pune is not only known for industry, but also gained popularly amongst the world for good educational destinations. Mr Agarwal has also appealed to all parties leaders including NCP supremo Sharad Pawar to create their efforts to bring international airport in Pune as soon as possible.
