Pumpkart signs MoU to invest 200 cr in HP

Chandigarh, Aug 14 (UNI) Pumpkart.com, a B2B e-commerce start up, has signed an MoU with the Himachal Pradesh government in respect of making an investment to the tune of Rs 200 crore in the state.
The MoU was signed by Pumpkart.com Co Founders K S Bhatia and Manish Saini with the officials of the Himachal Pradesh government in presence of Chief Minister Jairam Thakur during an investors meet (road show) at Confederation of Indian Industry's (CII) Northern region headquarter here on late Tuesday evening.
Pumpkart has announced its plan to invest Rs 200 crore over five years to assist small and medium retailers in expanding their business. With this staggering investment Pumpkart is all set to become the highest investing start up in the state.
