Pulwama attack: Govt will give befitting reply to perpetrators, says Shah

Jaipur, Feb 18 (UNI) Bharatiya Janata Party president Amit Shah on Monday said the sacrifice of soldiers, martyred in Pulwama attack, will not go in vain.
He said the government will give a befitting reply to the perpetrators.
The BJP president, while addressing a meeting -- Shakti Kendra Sammelan -- organised in the state capital, said the government will respond to the Pulwama attack at an appropriate time and in its 'own way'.
On February 14, in Kashmir’s Pulwama district, a suicide bomber, supposedly having its affiliation to militant organisation Jaish-e-Mohammad, crashed his explosive-laden vehicle with a bus ferrying Central Police Reserve Force (CRPF) personnel. The collision resulted in a massive explosion killing more than 40 jawans of the force and reducing the bus into molten metal.
Mr Shah claimed that the BJP was the ‘only’ party in the nation that advocated “zero-tolerance” towards terrorism.
To tackle terrorism, Mr Shah stated that Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led National Democratic Alliance Government at Centre has initiated appropriate steps for the formulation of a strong policy.
The BJP president claimed that the Modi Government has strengthened the forces and enhanced the morale of the soldiers. Moreover, he said that it was the NDA Government which has allocated highest budget for Defence since Independence.
Praising the Prime Minister, Mr Shah said that Mr Modi was the only leader in the world with highest political wisdom.
He made an appeal to the audience to take an oath to fight against terrorism. “Raise your voices so that it could be heard in Pakistan,” the BJP president roared.
