Puja performed inside Palace by Royal Family

Mysuru, Oct 25 (UNI) A slice of ancient tradition unfolds on the world famous Mysore Palace during the Navratri festivities bringing alive memories of a bygone era.
The Mysore royal family has always played a vital role in continuing the tradition, even today it was continued by the family members.
Despite Covid-19 the royal family performed the Ayudha pooja inside the courtyard, however, it was a low key affair because of Covid-19 threat. Scion Mysore royal family Yaduveer Krishnadatta Chamaraja Wadiyar performed the pooja in a traditional manner to weapons followed by a Kusmananda (cutting of pumpkin). This was followed by the procession to the Bhuvaneswari temple with the weapons carried in a golden palanquin.
