New Delhi, Jun 21 (UNI) Supreme Court on Friday deferred the hearing to July 10 on the legal tussle between Puducherry Lieutenant Governor (LG) and the Chief Minister in connection with the power to administer the Union Territory (UT).
The apex court said the earlier interim order of it restraining the government from implementing any state cabinet decision on matters of financial implications and policy matter will continue till July 10, the next day of hearing in the case.
A vacation bench of the top court, headed by Justice Deepak Gupta, said, "we are deferring the matter to July 10 for a detailed hearing in the case."
