Puducherry police resolves Muthailpet murder case

Puducherry, Nov 12 (UNI) Puducherry police has resolved the Muthialpet murder case with the arrest of four accused.

A notorious rowdy Anbu Rajani was hacked to death by a four member gang after hurling country made bombs on his car at Muthialpet here on the night of November 10.

Rahul Alwal, Senior Superintendent of Police in a statement on Tuesday said that the accused Ramachandran, Nivas, Jerome and Surya were on the run across Tamil Nadu and Puducherry and the special team laid separate traps for them and were arrested on Monday.

The accused confessed of committing the crime, he said adding that Anbu Rajani was killed as he
supported the accused in the murder case of one Vinoth.
