Pucca roads to connect each agriculture farm in Haryana in next 5 yrs: Khattar

Chandigarh, Dec 8 (UNI) Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar said that in the next five years, pucca roads would be constructed to each agriculture farm in the state to facilitate the farmers in loading his produce and carrying it to mandis.
Interacting with Chairman and Vice-Chairman of market committees, who called on him, here on Saturday, the Chief Minister said that at present, the mandi system of Haryana is best in the entire country. He urged the chairman and vice-chairman of market committees to assist in removing the difficulties being faced by farmers and make them aware so that they could get profitable value of their produce. He said that during last four years, development has been taken place alongwith system change.
He said that it is the responsibility of the Chairman and Vice-Chairman of market committees to help farmers in right marketing of their produce. Haryana is leading in agriculture sector only because of the tireless work of the farmers. He said that apart from farming, farmers should also engage in mushroom production, beekeeping, fish rearing to increase their income.
