Provisional bail of Lalu Yadav extended to August 20

Ranchi, Aug 10 (UNI) The Jharkhand High Court today extended the provisional bail of jailed former Bihar Chief Minister and RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav till August 20.
The court of justice Apresh Kumar Singh extended the provisional bail till August 20 and has fixed August 17 as the next date of hearing. The lawyers of Lalu Yadav had filed a petition in the court urging that the provisional bail of Mr Yadav be extended by another three months.
The provisional bail period of Lalu Yadav is ending on August 17. Mr Yadav is being treated by the doctors of Asian Heart Hospital Mumbai. The High Court had on May 11 granted six weeks of provisional bail to Mr Yadav for undergoing treatment which had ended on June 22.
