Protesters indulge in vandalism, attack police in Paris

Paris, Nov 28 (UNI) A peaceful protest against the newly-introduced draft law, criminalising the display of images of law enforcement officers, suddenly erupted into violence on Saturday as group of people in black attire attacked local police and indulged in vandalism.
The legislation was passed at the French parliament's lower house on Tuesday, and it immediately sparked a debate, especially among journalists. The bill entails one year imprisonment and a fine of 45,000 euros (
54,000) in punishment for the distribution of images of police officers and gendarmes that can potentially lead to their physical and psychological harm.

Dhaka, Jan 17 (UNI) Foreign Minister of Bangladesh Dr. A.K Abdul Momen has called for making films depicting the plights of Rohingyas, who being persecuted in Myanmar, have been forced to take shelter in Bangladesh.
He came up with the remarks while addressing the 19th Dhaka International Film Festival as the chief guest.
The Film Festival was organized by the Rainbow Film Society.
