Protest against Padmavati spills over to Delhi, Bhansali's effigy burnt

New Delhi, Nov 24 (UNI) The agitation against the screening of controversial movie 'Padmavati' spilled here on Friday, as a group of people gathered outside the Azadpur Metro Station on Friday morning to protest against the release of the movie which is yet to be cleared by the censor board.
''A call was received by the Police regarding a group of 50-60 people gathering outside Azadpur metro station and burning the effigy of Sanjay Leela Bhansali, the director of movie Padmavati'', a senior police officer said.
The group Rashtriya Chetna Manch, is reportedly behind the effigy burning that took place here.
