Protection to girl students from harassment: AP Education Minister

Kakinada, Sep 13 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh education Minister A Suresh on Friday said that government would spare no efforts in protecting the girl students in their educational institutions from harassment, ill treatment and from all sorts of insinuations and in initiating stringent action against the erring.

Participating as the chief guest at the workshop on the subject of girls protection and safety in educational institutions, organised by the women and child welfare department at the Ambedkar Bhavan here, he said it was the policy of the government to shape the state as free from harassment to girls and womenfolk enlisting the support of officials, police and peoples representatives.
