Process begins for auctioning Agri Gold properties

Vijayawada Dec 10 (UNI) The process of inviting tenders for auctioning of properties AgriGold company, which cheated over 19 lakh depositors to the tune of over Rs.6,000 crores in various states, will began on December 11.
Director General of Police N Sambhasiva Rao here today said that notice was issued inviting sealed tenders cum action for sale of immovable properties of AgriGold compny as per the order of the High Court.
The auction of lands would be carried out under the supervision of the High Court. If the auction fetches Rs 1000 crore, 80 per cent of victims could be returned their money, he explained. The DGP said that the Agri Gold company cheated 19,18,882 depositors in various states out of which 11,57,503 depositors are in Andhra Pradesh, who were cheated to the tune of Rs.3,966 crores.
