New Delhi, Mar 26 (UNI) Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra on Tuesday said the Uttar Pradesh government was indulging in exploitation of daily wagers working under the MGNREGA.
In a post on social media, Ms Vadra said daily wagers were appointed for the execution of the MGNREGA but the Yogi Adityanath government has been using them for Gramsabha and block-level work but has no intention to make their jobs permanent.
“The daily wagers were appointed to run the MGNREGA. But today they have to do everything from the Gram Sabha to the block. Conditions of technical assistant and APO is same. None of them are permanent. The government is having no intention to help them out. Their committee was just a hoax,” she tweeted.
