Prithvi Raj Singh elected Governor of World Water Council

New Delhi, Nov 17 (UNI) Prithvi Raj Singh, the Managing Trustee of Jal Bhagirathi Foundation has been elected as a Governor of the World Water Council.
Mr Singh was elected at Marseille in France during its General Assembly Council, which was attended by delegates from 160 countries, a statement of the NGO said.
The World Water Council works closely with the United Nations, Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), World Bank and the World Economic Forum (WEF) on global hydro-diplomacy.
It also organises the largest water event in the world with more than 40,000 participants from across the world.
The Jal Bhagirathi Foundation is an NGO working in western Rajasthan.
