Prince Karim Aga Khan calls on PM

New Delhi, Feb 21 (UNI) The Aga Khan, Imam (spiritual leader) of the Shia Ismaili Muslims and founder and chairman of the Aga Khan Development Network (AKDN), on Wednesday called on Prime Minister Narendra Modi here, an official release said.
'His Highness Prince Karim Aga Khan calls on PM narendramodi in New Delhi,' the release said.
The spiritual leader arrived here earlier on Wednesday on a 10-day official visit at the invitation of the Government.
His arrival here is part of a series of visits that coincide with the commemoration of the Aga Khan’s diamond jubilee, marking the 60th anniversary of his leadership as Imam of the Shia Ismaili Muslim community.
While in Delhi, the Aga Khan is also expected to meet with President Ram Nath Kovind .
