Prime Minister claims tourists footfall increased in Adi Kailash, Om Parvat after his visit to Uttarakhand in 2023

Dehradun, Apr 14 (UNI) Prime Minister Narendra Modi today took credit for boosting tourism in the hilly state of Uttarakhand, saying that tourists footfall increased manifold in Adi Kailash and Om Parvat in two and half years.
He also appealed tourists coming to Uttarakhand to keep its forests and religious places clean.
Addressing a gathering in Dehradun after dedicating newly constructed Delhi-Dehradun Expressway and Economic Corridor to the people, he said, "Hope you remember I visited Adi Kailash and Om Parvat in 2023. I went there after many years. Uttarakhand Chief Minister told me that devotees are going there in large numbers every year after I went in 2023. Earlier only few hundred people visited there in winters. But in 2025, more than 40,000 devotees visited these holy places. Earlier not even 1,000 devotees came here.
