Prices of essentials should be kept in control by traders: Dinesh Sharma

Lucknow, Mar 30 (UNI) In view of the 21-day nationwide lockdown imposed to control the spread of the Novel Coronavirus, Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Dinesh Sharma has called upon the traders to make food items available to the poor people of the state and to keep the prices of essential commodities under control.
Talking to 25 trader leaders of the district through video conferencing, Dr Sharma said that grocery and medicine dealers are fulfilling their responsibilities like warriors in these challenging times. Appreciating assistance in food supply, he said that the 'Vyapari Mandal' should ensure that the prices of essential commodities do not increase.
He said that the government is consistently working at its level to make food and relief available to every individual but this will not be possible only through the government. The support of traders is also needed in this.
