Lucknow, Dec 2 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Saturday said that preventing deaths caused by road accidents is a significant challenge.
He mentioned that most accidents occur due to over speeding as well as lack of driving skill. He expressed concern over the issue, stressing the need for finding a solution to it to save people's lives.
Emphasizing on road safety and awareness, he mentioned that in the last two years of the coronavirus, fewer than 24,000 people have died, while in road accidents, Uttar Pradesh witnesses 20-22 thousand deaths every year.
