Presence of arsenic and fluoride detect in Tripura

Agartala, Apr 26 (UNI) The Tripura government has begun large scale water test across the state following detection of presence of arsenic and fluoride beyond permissible limit in the sample collected from bordering locations of Assam in North Tripura.
According to report, sudden death of nine people of stomach complaints in North Tripura between the day of election result and before sworn in of the new government, the health minister also holding the portfolio of drinking water and sanitation Sudip Roy Barman had ordered enquiry to ascertain the reason of death.
“There is no reason to be panic because arsenic and fluoride are natural elements, which is of course harmful for human health beyond prescribed limit. So far though in a few locations these are found beyond permissible level but still it is tolerant stage. The government is dealing the issue very seriously,” Roy Barman asserted.

Dharamshala: December 1 -( UNI) An online meeting was organized by the Union Education Ministry on Wednesday for the successful implementation of the National Education Policy in the country as the country has been divided into three zones and nine sub zones.
This meeting was attended by the Secretaries of all states and vice chancellors of universities attended this meeting. Pooja Awasthi PRO Central University of Himachal Pradesh ( CUHP) told UNI that on behalf of the Central Government, the Central University, Himachal Pradesh has been entrusted with the responsibility of leading the successful implementation of National Education Policy 2020 in the states included under Zone 3.
